THE UNION CLUB OF BRITISH COLUMBIA
The Union Club of British Columbia Guidelines
Dress Code
The Union Club requires members, guests, visitors and room guests to adhere to a Dress Code whenever using the Union Club. The Dress Code seeks to provide an atmosphere of fellowship and favours a fitted and smart aesthetic.
Members, guests, visitors and room guests are required to observe the Dress Code whenever they are using the Union Club’s common areas, except when entering or exiting the building, or when travelling through the corridors of the building to a private function or their bedroom, or when travelling to or from the Executive Fitness Centre.
Members, guests and visitors should respect the Dress Code as advertised for individual club events and occasions. In the case of a private function or association meeting, the dress code that is specified for the event by the organizers will supersede the Union Club’s Dress Code as set down below:
Parking at the Union Club
The Union Club of British Columbia’s parking lot is available to members only while they are using the club, with a valid sticker.
Guests of members or those attending a private event at the Union Club are encouraged to make use of any of the nearby parkades or plentiful street parking.
As the Union Club’s lot is home to only 25 parking spaces – including one spot reserved 24 hours-a-day for those with disabilities (permit required) and another reserved 24 hours-a-day for the Union Club’s President – it can fill up quite easily, especially during peak periods.
For a real-time update of parkades in the downtown core, please visit Parkopedia.
