Our Executive Chef, Jeffrey Brothers, is a “Certified Chef de Cuisine” and has international culinary experience to draw on. With his wide-ranging background in food preparation and a deep understanding of kitchen operations, Chef Jeffrey has a knowledge and passion that guarantees that the Club’s kitchen consistently promotes culinary excellence.
Variety and quality are watchwords at the Club, with menus changing seasonally and the Chef preparing both classic dishes and exciting new ones featuring ethnic flavours and intriguing culinary fusions. Whether you prefer steak au poivre vert or fresh seafood lifted with Thai spices, our Chef is ready to delight your palate.
Of course there are several casual dining options available, including lunches and dinners in the McGregor Lounge and the Friday night barbecue buffet on the Rooftop Terrace (seasonal).

Victoria and its surrounding farmlands are at the forefront of “local and sustainable” food practices in Canada, which means that there is a bounty of superb natural foodstuffs available to our kitchen staff.

The Club offers one of the most extensive and best-chosen wine lists in the city. Our sommelier, Richard Delowski, has selected more than 250 wines in all, including the notable First Growths of Bordeaux, the best Barolos and Amarones of Italy, Riojas from Spain, and the full gamut of New World wines from Australia, California, and South America. Our holdings of Champagne and other sparkling wines are extensive. Numerous hard-to-source cult wines and selections from boutique wineries are also included, as well as a large number of award-winning wines from British Columbia’s finest producers. And with wines available at the “club price”, it’s always tempting to splurge on that special bottle!
